| 1.What are the outstanding improvements of our NEW 3rd generation slit lamps SL-R3, SL-R5 etc.? |
- Modernized optical design, all of the NEW 3rd generation Slit Lamps utilize a multi-layered, multi-coated system which transmits light more efficiently, producing a significant increase in optical resolution and clarity
- Expanded field of view and increased depth of field
- Single-handed elevation system and easy-to-reach tilt mechanism
- Compact and flexible structure insures the convenient use
|
| 2.Whats the spectral transmittance of the beam splitter? |
|
For use with digital camera, video or second observer tube, there is a choice of either 50/50% or 80/20% (we can also customize into 30%, 70% to your request), the latter giving more light to the camera, thus an even better image. |
| 3.My autorefractor is not taking measurements, even through the patient is lined up? |
- The auto measuring function may be turned off. Touch the key with the A and/or four arrows to return the ARK to the auto measuring mode.
- If the cornea is very dry or the patient is wearing a contact lens, the automatic A measurement function may need to be removed and the manual mode employe.
- Room illumination may ve reflecting on the cornea.
- The pupil may be too small (less than 2mm)
|
| 4.How do I clean the autorefractor? |
Use a soft cotton swab and lightly moisten with alcohol prep. Using a circular motion from the center of the lens, work the swab out the edges, cleaning the lens. Fog the measuring window with your breath and use a dry swab to clean. Inspect the measuring window with a penlight to see that no streaks or smudges remain. |
